The ISA TRAQ credential is valid for 5 years. To reinstate your qualification after each five-year period, you must retrain and retest through the ISA TRAQ Renewal programme. The ISA TRAQ Renewal program includes one-day of instruction and two examinations (written and performance based).
TRAQ Renewal Online allows eligible credential holders to renew their credential, by successfully completing both training and examination requirements, from the convenience of their own home/location.
#This training and assessment is recognised by Study Sponsorship Scheme of the Urban Forestry Support Fund, with subsidy up to 70% of tuition and assessment fee.
For details: https://www.greening.gov.hk/ufsf/en/home/index.html
*You may complete the TRAQ Renewal Course or full course as early as 18 months prior to your expiration date. Once you have successfully passed the requirements, the new five-year qualification period will begin the day following the original expiration date rather than the date of passing the renewal course. This will allow you to take full advantage of the five-year qualification period.
If your TRAQ qualification is expiring before October 2026, you may now apply this renewal course.
Training events will be held in an online environment and those who meet training requirements (candidates must attend at least 80% of the online training course) will receive access to schedule their written exam and submit their performance based assessment.
Requirements for TRAQ Renewal Online and Importance Notes:
Ability to view Zoom Meetings/Webinars PC/Mac/Tablet with Web Cam (the instructor and facilitator must be able to see you on camera)

After you meet the training requirements for the online course:
You will receive an email confirmation with a link to schedule your written exam through Pearson VUE. * Your name at registration must match what is on your government-issued ID that will be needed on the day scheduled for the written exam.
This confirmation will also contain the link to submit your performance based exam.
You will have a 90-day period to complete and submit both written and performance based exams.
